Aviagen Turkeys Strengthens Management Team

Aviagen Turkeys, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointments of Dr. Marion Garcia as Director of Poultry Health and David Kenyon as Vice President of Sales and Technical Service. Dr. Bob Edson will continue his role as Vice President of Operations.

As Director of Poultry Health, Marion is responsible for leading the company’s poultry health programs and providing veterinary support for our customers. Marion has worked in the turkey industry as a poultry veterinarian for ten years and has a track record of developing and implementing disease eradication programs. She received her Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University and was a Resident in Poultry Health Management at North Carolina State University.

In his new role, David Kenyon will lead our sales and technical team in their support of our customers. David brings considerable experience to this leadership position. Prior to joining Aviagen Turkeys in 2007 as Regional Sales Manager he served as Director of Sales and Technical Service for BUTA for seven years.
